For best results you should submit your claim as soon as possible after your delayed flight. You need to provide documents supporting the delay. These flight details usually drop off the airlines website after 24 hours. Submitting details online was easy. The overall process is slow, but what AirHelp got us was 100% better than what the airline offered for 16.5 hour delay, which was nothing. They do charge high fee if you are not an AirHelp subscriber, but I was fine with that since this was my first time using them. I just had to sit back and wait for the claim to be approved and then paid out. Entire time line from uploading documents to receiving funds was about 3 months. I had favorable results and would recommend.
